Did you know that for little more than just $2 per month* your HCGHS membership let's you do all these things:
- Attend our online webinar programs and access our large library of past meeting videos and podcasts.
- Every membership includes two (2) free birth, marriage, death or obituary lookups per year.**
- Join topical Special Interest Groups "SIGs" where members can get help from other members interested in the same topic, plus access research resources and tools. Our current SIGs are: Brickwall Busting, German Research, Irish Research, Writing Your Family History, and more to be added according to member interest!
- Download handouts, PowerPoint presentations and more from our seminars and events (great for members that can't attend in person or just want a refresher)
- Gain early access to limited seating ticketed events and tours before they open to the public.
- Attend live online chats held on member selected topics (archived transcripts are also available). Some previous topics included: Researching at the NJ State Archives, Breaking Through Brickwalls, Courthouse Research, Immigration Research
- View a list of surnames other members are researching. Add your own.
- Use the Online Member Directory to contact other members with research interests similar to your own.
- Read Minutes from all past meetings so you stay in touch.

Membership Dues

| Individual | A single individual. | $25.00/year |
| Family | Multiple family members at the same location. | $35.00/year |
| Individual Lifetime Member | Pay one lump sum and become a member for life. There are no family lifetime memberships. | $250.00 one-time |
You will be sent your member information shortly after your application has been received and membership dues have been processed. In addition to personal checks and cash, we also accept:
