FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A Presentation by Toni McKeen, February 14, 2015
Toni McKeen will present “Putting Flesh on the Bones of Your Ancestor”
JANUARY 21, 2015 -– JERSEY CITY, NJ -- The Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society, one of the only genealogy and family history groups focused entirely on the study of Hudson County, New Jersey, is pleased to announce the agenda for its February 14, 2015 meeting. Toni McKeen, who previously presented “Research Problems That Made My Eyes Cross” to the Society, will return with a new topic: “Putting Flesh on the Bones of Your Ancestor.”
While we all love to go back many generations, as well as going sideways, it is just as important to bring a special relative alive with an in depth study of his or her life. Toni will break the project up into small steps and give guide lines, give ideas for various topics and chapters, then show how to put the work into a book format with designed papers, input photos and charts, and include other hints to produce a wonderful book future generations will love to read and treasure.
The Hudson County Genealogical Society Meeting will be held on February 14, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Secaucus Public Library's Panasonic Room located on the 2nd floor of the library at 1379 Patterson Plank Road, Secaucus, New Jersey. Admission and parking are free.
