Judy G. Russell, AKA The Legal Genealogist, will present "Building a Family on Circumstantial Evidence"
DECEMBER 5, 2014 -– JERSEY CITY, NJ -- The Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society, one of the only genealogy and family history groups focused entirely on the study of Hudson County, New Jersey, is pleased to announce the agenda for its December 13, 2014 Meeting.
A Certified GenealogistSM and Certified Genealogical LecturerSM with a law degree, The Legal Genealogist, Judy G. Russell, is a lecturer, educator and writer who enjoys helping others understand a wide variety of genealogical issues, including the interplay between genealogy and the law. On December 13, 2014 she will present “Building a Family on Circumstantial Evidence.”
Judy Russell lectures on a wide variety of genealogical topics, ranging from using court records in our family history to understanding DNA testing. The Hudson County Genealogical Society Meeting will be held on December 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Secaucus Public Library's Panasonic Room located on the 2nd floor of the library at 1379 Patterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. Admission and parking are free.
About the Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society
The Hudson County Genealogical Society, a 501 (c)(3) New Jersey Non Profit Corporation, was formed in October 2007 to promote the study of genealogy and the history of Hudson County. The goal of the society is to collect, preserve and index this information in cooperation with local libraries and internet resources, to encourage adherence to the highest standards of research and documentation, to offer educational programs such as lectures, seminars and workshops and to promote the observance of Family History month.
